A very common question when a person is looking for a job in Singapore is what kind of passes/permits does the Singaporean government issue to foreigners. Unfortunately there is no short answer to this question rather there are multiple types of work passes and permits that the Singaporean government can issue. The most basic type of work pass/permit is the work permit which falls under Skilled and semi-skilled workers. A work permit is a pass that is generally issued to semi-skilled foreign workers in the construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process or services sector. Do note that there are fees a company must pay the Ministry of Manpower Singapore (MoM) once a work permit has been approved. How to create a job posting.   There are a few do and don't when creating a job for advertisement but lets start off with the essentials.   The first and foremost will be the job title. The job title will be the designation you wish to give to the person you hire and ideally you will want it to be either a general title or a specific one. For example a general job title of "Accounts Executive" covers a wide range in the field of finance. Employment Agency (EA) In Singapore For foreigners or even locals looking for a Job in Singapore you may be hunted by a Employment Agency (EA). When a foreigner is approached or opts to use a EA it is very important to verify that they are a licensed and registered EA by Ministry of Manpower Singapore (MOM). link here to verify. www.mom.gov.sg/eadirectory .
